Our Short-term Leased Brand New 2004 Renault 1.9L Turbo Diesel for Exploring the European Continent

Wow, I can't believe it, but I think that Esso gas station sign implies an equivalent of <$4/gallon here in the US. That's less than what we're paying right now at the pumps!

This was an awesome car. I can still fondly remember how good it felt going through the French countryside searching for our campground. BTW, that yellow thing on the roof of the car is our USB Garmin GPS antenna. I remember I had to suction cup it to the roof because it as just a touch more difficult to do a GPS lock in Europe at the time. That too was a fantastic tool. Enter the GPS coordinates of our destination (like a camping ground), and it's just like a video game. Road not marked? Can't read the foreign signs at night. It doesn't matter. Get the car icon closer and closer to the 'X' until you are there. No matter what the environment, from the French pastoral country roads to the crazy traffic in Rome, this smart little device guided to us to each destination safely.
