Miat's Dog Burrow Bed

Miat really loves his burrow bed. Just to make Miat's (a Maltese) burrow bed cooler in the summer, I bent this aluminum dowel from Home Depot into an arch and secured it to the dog burrow bed with a wooden clothes pin. The dowel support makes the dog burrow bed more tent-like. This burrow bed is made by PetMate. However, there are burrow beds that have an integrated support structure in the pocket. (See the Cozy Cave by O'Donnell Industries.) As you would expect, the Cozy Cave is a little bit more expensive than the structure-less PetMate version.
