Sidebar: My Favorite Handheld Vacuum Uses

The Car. I find that car floor mats get dirty quickly. I find that spot vacuuming is a great way to keep the interior looking clean in-between more thorough interior cleanings. Also, on longer car vacation trips, such as going on the beach, I often bring the handheld vacuum to clean up the sand and other debris that gets brought into the car. Indeed, with my DC-to-AC inverter, I can charge up my handheld vacuum even in the car.

The Boat. The carpeted interiors of runabout lake boats are also a nice place to have a handheld vacuum. It's so easy for the carpet to collect breadcrumbs, chips, leaves, and other debris especially when on a multi-day lake trip.

The Bathroom. Okay, it's a sad fact of life that when you get older, you tend to shed hair more often. I often find hair on the bathroom floor regularly. It's a breeze to vacuum it up with my handheld in a few seconds.

The Kitchen. Spill some sugar on the kitchen countertop? A hand vacuum quickly collects the sugar granules without getting any on the floor like wiping would do.

Camping. Whenever I go camping, I know that the tent floor will start accumulating dirt, leaves, crumbs, etc. Again, I am sure to bring my handheld vacuum for a more pleasant tenting experience.
