Russell Hobbs Electric Hot Water Kettle

We've had this electric tea kettle for ten years now (Oct 2008), use it regularly, and love it. We bought it at Linens'N'Things for about $45.

With its heating coils embedded on the bottom of the kettle itself, the electric kettle boils water more efficiently and faster than a kettle on a stove.

The 1800-watt Russell Hobbs Millenium electric tea kettle can bring about 1.7L ( nearly half a gallon) of water to a vigorous boil in about six minutes.
