Resistance of Center Differential Lock Transfer Indicator Switch (Toyota PN #84222-12010 'transfer indicator switch') Changes as Ball Is Pressed Inwards

Above shows how switch is supposed to behave. When ball is pressed inwards with clamp, virtually full conductivity should be read at electrical connector.

I've used my trusty Fluke 867B graphical multimeter here, but any old ohm meter will do.
